More Tourney Ideas

I think we should do a tournament dedicated to EXODIA

everyone should make decks that the only purpose of the deck is getting to exodia faster, you cant win no other way.
I know some duels might take long, but a good duelist should be able to get to their exodia pieces in less than ten turns.

this should be a great tournament for those EXODIA fans out there

this sounds like it would be fun! haha

Seems like a fun idea, personally i am not a fan to exodia decks, but i can tell that we had that tournament in DAD and it did great - everyone liked it. So props uf from me - if it means anything here ^^

well that will look like an exodia FTK competition, so what we can do is do it and the winer will post the deck and that can show the academy wich exodia ftk is the best to build . I can organise it if that is what u want

at the moment i dont care wat kind of tourny it is just do something i sooooooooo..............................

I have a few ideas to throw out there, so...


~Tier One Team Tag~

Select 2 tier one or competitive deck's.
Then you will be broken up into teams for one of the sides.

Ie- Blackwings Vs Lightsworn

So all People in team Blackwing must use a blackwing deck or blackwing hybrid. and vice versa. Idea would be to
Simply pit two competitive decks against each other..so the duels come down to skill rather than a competitive advantage.



~ 12 Point Shooter~

This theme would be to once again break people up into teams.

For this one though...it will not be on a bracket basis.

To explain the rules roughly.

1.) Each team must nominate who they wish to play each duel.

2.) The tourney will start by both sides nominating one person at random

3.) No player Can play two games twice, So after a Win; he/she must wait one round before being eligible for
Re-nomination to duel by your team.

4.) The winning team is required to nominate their player first, so the opposing team is allowed to choose their best match up
accordingly.

5.) ALL players on both teams MUST duel at least ONCE to be eligible to win the tourney.

6.) You will receive one point for defeating your opponent in a match for your team.

7.) If you duel a player you have already dueled a 2nd time; You will only receive .5 points for a win if you beat him/her before already.

8.) You are NOT allowed to duel the same player 3 times; 2 will be the max same players can play each other.

9.) The total to be Reached for the tourney will be 4 higher than the Team Number. So if there is 11 players in each team; The total to be
reached would be 15.


**Break Point**

To Ensure fair play and a fair shot for both teams; this is the last rule.

If your Team reach's their point total for the tourney ( Say 15 ), But have NOT played each of their players at LEAST once; Then Break Point will take effect.

The Team that reached their point total without playing ALL members at least once will be under Break Point Rules.

Said Team will be FORCED to play ALL remaining players that have NOT dueled at least once. Remaining duelist for Said Team will be worth 1.5 points
if beaten by the opponent Too make up for any advantage Gained by Team A NOT playing all their members at least once.

Team A remaining players will gain points as per the regular rules...full point for beating someone for the first time, and .5 for beating the same person twice.

At the End of Break Point After Team A has played all Remaining Players; If Team B has not tied or gained more Points Than Team A..they Team A will
now officially win the tourney at this point. If Team B gained more points than Team A at the end of break point to go over the total..they then win the tourney; Not Team A.

In Case of a Tie at the end of break point, Both Teams would then preceed to re-nominate players to duel. The Last Team to Win a match must Nominate First.
First Team to win 2 out of 3 matchs Wins the tourney. All Previous Rules DO apply still...so Winners of a match can't play twice in a row,
and also you can't play the same person more than twice. (Previous Matchs do carry over; So choose wisely what match-ups you leave yourself with if you reach this point,
if you know your top players have already dueled X players twice already. So think about it...if Team B nominates a player that the top tier players in Team A
has already beat twice..then they would not be eligible to be nominated as they can't duel the same player three times. So THINK about your match-ups during the tourney
To leave yourself some good players that can still play if you reach this point due to a break point rule taking effect. )


I can break the tourney and rules down into a more better visual menu if you like the idea.

For the love of god though..FIX your msg demise..it expands the Txt window because of it-.-...

Quite a few fun ideas, i like the exodia tourney.

Also a few more ideas:

All vs all: noone get's eliminated, you just duel everyone in the tourney.

OTK tourney: you have to finish your oponent in a one turn kill, if he disrupts your otk, al least with 8000 or more damage getting fired in 1 turn

Build em up tourney: The first 4 rounds noone attacks, then both players clash with what they have build up.

4000 lp or 16000 lp tourney

name a word tourney: this can be real fun, you can only use spells, traps and monsters wich contain for example "Des"

60 card decks tourney: every deck has to have 60 cards in the main deck

Ritual tourney: Like the fusion one, but with ritual summons

Real tag team: with the viewing system of vhoan, make a duel and put your teammates duel on view next to it, this way you can try to figure out a strategy together and duel together(other players see facedowns and monsters also so you can say in battle phase i attack your mates monster in the other duel.

all of this tournament is special tournament so it will have to hosted with permission, normally i will run it. But I don't have enough time so I will tell someone to host it.

I could run them if you'd only make me the mod But I know I need patience, but still, I could do it

I could host some of them. I especially like the BW vs LS idea

Well Tino suggested EXODIA he have to host it iff he wants to do it, he have the rights to do it now, he is mod

for the LS and BW. Vongola should be the perfect person to do it

and i like jalice idea. I will host a tier 2 deck competition
