| Some people are already aware of that but for those who dont know that otk yet i will explain
The Flamwell OTK is done Basicly by milling Flamvell monsters ( Usualy Magician and Firedog ) and then u Activate Rekindling and u have ur OTK. u can attack with 5 monsters or u can synchro 1st and then attack.
Now what makes this combo so Powerfull is that u dont need to run a flamevell deck to do it. u can splash it in decks that mill cards. People are trying lots of variants for this deck because the combo is Just AWSOME ( notice that the cards I mentioned are Comon Cards in TCG so you dont need a big budget).
The most comon Variants for the Flamevell OTK are Flame Sworns and Flame Sabers but i was meesing around with a old Fish Synchro today and i Splash those Flamevell in it and the deck runs pretty good so i wanted to ear your comments about that combo and also i wanted to know if anyone have an idea for another variant for the flame deck
Decks Variants known till now
Flame Sworns ( Competitive Play ) Flame Sabers ( Competitive Play )
Flame Fish ( Scorpion67 ) Flame Cyber ( JaliceDakari ) Flame Volcanic ( JaliceDakari

| The archetype OTK engine is pretty nice....but It does seem to double as a synchro engine as well. Like scorpion touched on...if you can mill the flamvells..they would fit in your deck probably. For the most part..their very splashable in most decks..throw in the main two monsters (Firedog & Magician), along with rekindling..and you got 3 chances for revival and synchro useage..not to mention a OTK Strategy or potential. As some have seen, I tried my hand at a Flamvell hybrid with Cybers. Deck came out ok, but I also made a second one to simply see how many types of variants Flamvells can fit into. So the Two Types of Decks I've made with flamvells up to now is.. Cyber Fire - Flamvell + Machine SpitFire - Flamvell + Volcanics If anyone else happened to throw the archetype into something new, it would be nice to hear about it and share with me and scorp | |

| Depends...it just seems to work well in a deck that can either mill alot or go thru cards quickly to dump them in the graveyard. It depends how it is run though. They do fit into LS since they do innate milling..your bound to get the various Flamvells dumped as you play and when you can get a rekindling from your deck..that spells havoc for your opponent. | |

| I think the question was if flame sworns are considered a mill deck. No flame sworn is not a mill deck. Necro Face and Deck Destruction decks are Mill Decks | |

To answer your original question i guess; no it is not a mill deck. Me and scorp were mearly saying that flamvells work well in decks that CAN mill..or go thru cards quickly. sorry for the confusion on that,lmao..

| I'm loving this combo more and more . Another type to fuse it with would Flamecat (synchro cat + flamvell engine. It's worked pretty well for me, and it's an even better idea since monk and cat are limited | |

| I agree why not use it because as we all probably know when the new ban list comes around, synchro cat is going to be banned, so why not use it while we still have it | |

| The only flaw with synchro cat i find is the deck has no big hitter monster..and your forced to rely partially on backrow and being able to synchro summon. Which is not a knock on the deck..cuz i like it personally..but im just saying.
I've started using Flamvell counter in my flamesworn deck to further make use of the cards. Figure if im going to mill flamvells in the grave..might as well have a dark bribe like card to counter M/T without letting my opp draw a card,lol...
Most likely though..the flamvell engine will take some kind of hit in the banlist...just how they go about it is the question. I would assume Dog and rekindling will be the main targets to semi limit or limit..who knows though.

| Tino: idk actually. SYNCHRO cat has already been banned/limited for quite a few lists. But flamcat? Maybe, maybe not. If it is, it'll be from flamvells in general being banned/limited. Jalice: I think they'll hit the banlist eventually, but i haven't personally seen a wiole bunch of any flamvell or flamvell hybrids around yet. So I think we'll be safe for a while. Or maybe people just don't use them where I am . Also, I wanted your opinion on something: for your flamsworn, counter may be better bc of all the milling, but is dark bribe or counter better in a flamcat? I still use bribe, bc it's a sure thing and I don't mill, but I wanted your opinion | |
